Fundraising & Community Support

So far since opening in July 2023, we have been able to donate and raise money for:

Paddock Wood Community Food Storehouse - we collect and donate hygiene items along with Beauty Banks donations quarterly.

Macmillan Cancer Support - Our first Coffee morning supported by Mascalls Academv and Paddock Wood Primary in September 2023 raised £463!

We support Hotshotz Tennis with their FREE Parkinson and Disability Tennis sessions.

We supply free fruit for children during school holidays and at Wednesday Stay & Play sessions. Waitrose Paddock Wood kindly donate fruit monthly to us.

Our Duke of Edinburgh volunteers handed out free bananas to runners of the 2024 PW Half Marathon.

We hosted, along with Hartbeeps West Kent, a Children's Christmas Party in December 2023 which raised £100 for Hospice In The Weald.

In March 2024 Mobilates, Empowered by Freedom and Women's Circle joined forces with the PWCC to raise over £1000 and with a donation from Community Catalysts, we were able to purchase an inflatable lifting cushion for the Community Centre which will allow those less mobile to join in with sessions.

The PW Rangers have kindly made hygiene bags for anyone who may be in need, just pop in to see us for one.

There is a Community Bookcase in the PWCC with free games, puzzles and books for anyone who wishes to help themselves. Donations are gratefully received from residents.

In July 2024, we hosted a screening of Frankenstein Legacy and raised £615 for Young Epilespy!

SUPPORTING LOCAL

We believe in shopping local to support our community and the surrounding areas. With that, we also support and shop as locally as we can and have links with many local businesses and charities, a few are shown below.
